During the recent Greek Week at the University of Redlands, students involved in Greek life hosted fun events for the campus, served the community, and competed for the title of “Greek Cup Champions.”

Greek Week is an annual tradition that brings together different members of the campus—Greeks (like me), non-Greeks, and administrators. The celebration is arranged by Order of Omega (OOO), an honor society for Greek students recognizing leadership and academics, with the help of Greek Council and the Associated Students of the University of Redlands (ASUR) Social Affairs.

The week’s events included: Greek Council Appreciation (celebrating the leaders who meet weekly to ensure Greek life runs smoothly); Trivia Night; Skate Night; a Greek recruitment event; Order of Omega’s “Greek God and Goddess” talent competition; and a Bulldogs in Service community service event.

一道本不卡免费高清With the awards—and Greek Week in general—Order of Omega members hoped to encourage the Greek community to push itself and represent all of its pillars: academics, tradition, service, leadership, and alumni relations. During Greek Week, we acknowledge and celebrate members accomplishments and improvements, while having fun and supporting each other. Participating in Greek life is one of the oldest traditions on this campus, and by throwing Greek Week, we hope to exemplify our core principles, encourage non-Greeks to join, and spend more time getting to know each other.
