Part of what makes Redlands great is the variety of experiences and backgrounds our students bring to our campus community. At the University of Redlands, an international student is an individual of foreign nationality who will be entering, or has already entered, the United States with a student visa.

Students with 24 or more transferable semester units must have successfully completed:
*Students may transfer up to 66 units from a two-year institution or 96 units from a four-year institution.
All students who have completed an application are considered for merit-based scholarships which are awarded based on academic excellence, leadership, and service.
There is no additional application needed for scholarship consideration.
First Year Students - Merit Scholarships range in value up to $30,000.
Transfer Students - Merit Scholarships range in value up to $20,000.

First year applicants are required to submit SAT or ACT scores or other English proficiency exams for admissions consideration. The writing portion of the SAT or ACT is not required.

If a student is admitted and enrolls in the institution, official scores must be submitted before the start of school. We encourage students to submit all scores, as we superscore! Students interested in the Johnston Center must submit applications to the University of Redlands and the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies. Applications can be submitted concurrently, however a student will not be reviewed for the Johnston Center until admitted to the University of Redlands.
